Data Transformation Lead / Senior Data Migration Analyst – SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Cloud, Workday or other HR technology

As a successful and fast-growing HR transformation consultancy, Veran Performance is looking to bring onboard individuals who are passionate about HR technology and ideally have a background working in consulting.

This role is the ideal opportunity for an individual with proven experience of successfully leading activities in data conversion and migration from on premise systems and spreadsheets to cloud HR systems. We are technology agnostic and work across all technology including Oracle Cloud, Workday and SuccessFactors.

Our immediate need is for Data Analyst and Leads with experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors.

 

The Role  

As a Data Transformation Lead you will work remotely during lockdown restrictions and when we return to the office, from our quirky warehouse in London Bridge as well as on client sites as required.

You will work autonomously to own the migration of data from legacy systems and other data sources, into new cloud HR systems, in this first instance, SuccessFactors. You will be responsible for evolving and actioning the data readiness assessment and data preparation plan already started, and ensuring all data and reporting requirements are met through effective data collection, cleansing and completing SAP’s data conversion templates.  

 

Responsibilities  

 Your responsibilities as Data Lead will include, but are not limited to:  

  • Working with the Veran team to define the list of standard data fields needed for a new cloud HR system, in this instance SuccessFactors.  
  • Helping clients to understand data requirements of an HR transformation and working with them to assess how much of this required data they already have, where this is held, the quality and completeness of this data and what gaps might exist where new data might need to be collected.    
  • Working closely with a range of stakeholders to define and agree plans and processes for collecting, cleansing and validating people data during the HR system implementation programme.  
  • Coordinating the end to end data migration process for all phases.  
  • Defining and executing data validation and quality improvement to source data.  

 

Desired Skills and Experience  

To apply for this role, you should demonstrate:  

  • Experience working with or implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll.  
  • Experience planning and leading the data collection, cleanse, validation and/or migration activities in the context of a HR transformation or HR technology deployment. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to be able to explain data, technology, and project terms in a clear and simple way to a range of stakeholders, notably those who are non-technical.
  • Working knowledge of master/reference data management, trouble shooting, data profiling and analysis. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills supported by client or customer-facing work experience.  
  • The ability to meet deadlines, work independently and be flexible.
